How Carzle writes and checks its guides

Every guide, comparison and trust page on Carzle is published by Carzle Editorial, the team behind the Carzle car marketplace. We take specifications from official manufacturer pages, rules from UAE government sources, and prices and availability only from live Carzle listings, which we label as Carzle stock. We show a date on every guide, and you can report a mistake by email.

Who writes Carzle's guides

Carzle Editorial is the team that writes and maintains the buying guides, model comparisons and trust pages on this site. It works for Carzle, a UAE car marketplace that connects buyers with showrooms, so we publish under the team name rather than individual bylines. Every page we publish is held to the standards below.

Our editorial standards

  • Specifications come from the manufacturer

Power, torque, dimensions and similar figures are taken from the official manufacturer page for that model and year. If we cannot find an official figure, we leave it out.

  • Rules come from the authority that sets them

For registration, road rules, tolls and standards we rely on the RTA, MoIAT, the UAE government portal (u.ae) and the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO), and link to them.

  • Prices come from Carzle stock, and say so

When a guide quotes a price or availability, it comes from cars currently listed on Carzle and is labelled as Carzle stock. It describes what showrooms on Carzle are asking, not the whole UAE market. We never show the price of a car that has sold.

  • No invented statistics

We do not publish a number we cannot trace to a source. If the data is thin, the guide says so.

  • Advice is labelled as advice

Practical tips, such as what to ask a showroom or what to check on a test drive, are written as advice. They are not presented as measured fact.

  • Guides carry dates

Guides show when they were published and last updated, so you can judge how current they are.

Where our information comes from

These are the source types we use, and what each one is used for.

Official manufacturer pages
Specifications, trims and model-year details.
RTA, MoIAT, u.ae and GSO
Registration, road rules, standards and other regulation.
Live Carzle listings
Asking prices, availability and the number of cars in stock, labelled as Carzle stock.

Corrections policy

If you find a factual error, email [email protected] with the page address and what is wrong. We check it against the original source. If you are right, we correct the page and update its date. We fix errors in place rather than quietly deleting the page, and we do not remove accurate information because someone dislikes it.

How we keep guides current

We review a guide when a source changes, when a regulation changes, or when a reader reports a mistake. Prices and availability read from live listings update as stock changes. The date on a guide shows its last meaningful edit.
